Remember that only masculine singular adjectives ending in o have a different form for the feminine singular. Común: común-mente Alto: altamente The superlative degree of these adverbs coincide with the superlative degree of the corresponding adjectives in their masculine form: bueno: buenísimo mucho: muchísimo poco: poquísimo. In Spanish, adverbs are compared in much the same manner as adjectives. Más or menos is placed before the adverb to form the comparative degree. The superlative is normally not distinguished from the comparative.
despacio/slow más despacio/slower, slowest María anda despacio./Mary walks slowly. María anda más despacio que Elena./Mary walks slower than Helen. De todas sus hermanas María anda más despacio./Of all her sisters Mary walks slowest. There are four irregular comparative adverbs:
